All over Europe codling moth damage is increasing both in integrated and
in organic fruit growing. For optimal timing of chemical and biological
insecticides insight in the local biology of the codling moth population
is essential. The RIMpro –Cydia model builds on experiences with former
models that have been developed in Europe and US in the last 15 years.
The model shows the flight activity of the female moths in the dusk, the
egg deposition activity, and the egg hatching period of first and second
generation. This helps you to put out your ovicides and larvicides at the optimal moments.
