Biofix setting for RIMpro-Scab

 

With the help of colleagues working in scab research and advisory , I publish on this page the information that helps you to set the right Biofix for RIMpro in 2010.

 

The default setting for the RIMpro BIOFIX that automatically comes with the installation is 10-3-2010. As it is a cold long winter all over Europe, this BIOFIX is certainly to early.

 

Without supporting information from your region, you should use green tip stage of your main apple variety as your Biofix date. This date can be adjusted by using local information on ascospore maturation and ejection.

 

The information in the table below can be used to set a more accurate date as BIOFIX.
